Do I need an appointment?

Yes, appointments are required. Charis is not a walk-in clinic. While we never want to turn any patients away, we are not set up to work efficiently with walk-in patients. Please call our office at 773-5875 to schedule an appointment.
What will I need to bring?

The first time you come in for an appointment, you will need to bring a photo ID. We will simply need to verify that you are a resident of Wilson County. You will be asked to sign a statement to verify you are a resident, and that you or your family member is employed and that you do not have health insurance coverage.
How much will it cost me for a visit?

Charis charges a fee for each visit. A regular visit will cost $15. Most follow up visits are only $5.
Is my donation to Charis Tax Deductible?

Charis Health Center is a 501(c)3 and as such, your donations will be deductible as allowed by the tax code.
Can I make a donation by Credit Card?

Yes, you can make a donation to Charis Health Center by using a credit card through Paypal.
Do I need to have medical experience to volunteer?

Medical Experience is a plus, but we have plenty of opportunities to volunteer that do not require any medical background.
